Julie has 15 years’ experience in successfully running operations, finance, strategy, sales and corporate development for various firms. Most recently, Julie played a major role in defining and growing a data and analytics firm that specializes in managed technology solutions and intelligence platform delivery headquartered in Washington DC. Previously, working for a Fortune 500, Julie consulted with numerous Associations and Nonprofits; American Cancer Society, American Diabetes Association, American Heart Association, National Development and Research Institution, National Restaurant Association, American Planning Association, and Public Education Network, just to name a few.

Julie applies leading edge thinking to data and analytics through product and service management, talent and team development, strategy and implementation and continuous improvement in business processes.

Julie holds an M.B.A. in Finance and Organizational Leadership from Duquesne University and a B.S.B.A. in Accounting and Finance from the University of Pittsburgh.

Besides loving everything Pittsburgh, Julie enjoys traveling, fitness, being a foodie, spending time with friends and family, and enjoying everything her Capitol Hill neighborhood in DC has to offer.


Mark leads client engagement and client success strategies. His spirit of collaboration, passion for client education, and vision for association innovation has empowered thousands of associations to grow through alliances and technical resources.

President & CRO

Bill has more than 15 years of experience leading growth and optimization of technology companies in software development, business intelligence, integration and consulting. As Vice President of Strategy and Solutions, Bill is responsible for development, continuous improvement, and quality delivery of the A2 product and services portfolio to provide the best value and customer experience. When not focusing on A2 operations, he works closely with clients to develop and execute Analytics Strategies and Roadmaps to help associations use analytics to drive their mission. Prior to joining Association Analytics, he served as Vice President of EastBanc Technologies where he directed tenfold growth as a key player in guiding product and service strategy, service delivery, and operations. His previous experience includes management, operations, and human resources positions in the technology consulting from boutiques to big 4. Bill holds a BA College of William and Mary.

VP, Strategy & Solutions

Andy has a 15+ year track record of working with Association, Non-profit, and Corporate leadership to solve their most complex financial, operational, and membership-related challenges. As Vice President of Engagement, Andy serves as the primary customer point of contact through the design, development and deployment of A2’s data and analytics solutions.

Prior to joining Association Analytics, Andy led business development for a business unit of a Fortune 500 organization offering analytics software and consulting services. In this role, he and his team successfully scoped and onboarded more than 30 new customers; including establishing processes, expectations, timelines and deliverables to ensure stakeholder alignment and delivery of successful business outcomes for the customer.

Andy is an avid listener, communicator, and relationship builder, with the ability to build consensus across broad groups of stakeholders to drive forward complex initiatives involving strategic change.

In his free time, Andy enjoys spending time with his three boys, exploring the great outdoors, composing music, and honing his woodworking skills.

Andy holds a B.A. in Economics from American University and a Certificate in Energy Innovation & Emerging Technologies from Stanford University.

VP, Engagement

Kelly has 23 years of analytical consulting experience specializing in strategy and marketing using predictive analytics and data mining. She has in-depth experience leading analytics initiatives with large associations, such as AARP, the American Dental Association and NFIB and brings great wisdom and insight to the projects she leads with our clients.

She also teaches Business Statistics and Management Science at Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business. Kelly has a Bachelor’s degree and an MBA from the Darden School, both from the University of Virginia.

Kelly is also a member of the Women’s Board of the American Heart Association – Greater Washington Region and is currently serving a two-year term as Treasurer. The women’s board raises funds to sponsor six Pre- and Post-Doctoral Research Grants to women scientists annually.

Chief Analytics Officer

Mario has more than 20 years in both a hands-on and leadership role in Analytics, Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing. He is passionate about creating customer value early and often by applying Disciplined Agile methodologies to Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse solutions.

Mario holds an M.B.A in Finance/MIS and a B.A.Sc. in Electrical Engineering. He is a Certified Business Intelligence Professional (C.B.I.P.) and is currently working towards a Microsoft Professional Program Certificate in Data Science.

Mario enjoys spending time with his wife and two children and experiencing the many wineries and restaurants in his new hometown of Niagara On The Lake. He is also a rockstar “wannabe” playing lead guitar for a Rock&Roll band.

Director, Business Analytics

Sean has over 20 years of experience in Information Management. His primary focus is designing and implementing business intelligence solutions to help organizations realize the value of their data assets. During this time, he has become an expert in Data Governance and Quality Management best practices. Sean leads the initiative to incorporate Data Governance and 6 Sigma methods for Data Quality Management for Association Analytics engagements. Sean has extensive knowledge of most business functions, project management, change management and communication best practices as well as deep knowledge of core IT functions. This blend of IT and business knowledge allows him to efficiently bridge organizational gaps and build positive relationships. Sean also served for three years as the Executive Director for the Trade Wind Science & Technology Group, a non-profit providing innovative programs to students 11 – 15.

 Director, Data & Quality Management

With more than a decade of experience in the association world, Tamsen always has the end user in mind during in product development. And with training in Agile games, she is able to get client information in a fun way – and quickly turn around better data.

Tamsen is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). She also is a Certified Scrum Master (CSM), and a Tableau Desktop 9 Qualified Associate. She also has served as vice president on the Avectra Users Group Board.

Tamsen earned a bachelor of science degree in chemistry at the school formerly known as Randolph Macon Women’s College, and has more than seven years of experience in project management. Prior to joining Association Analytics, Tamsen worked at CTAM (Cable and Telecommunications Association for Marketing), where she was the membership marketing manager.

Tamsen enjoys playing soccer in her free time and watching Arsenal play in the Premier League, even though it ends in disappointment every May.

 Business Intelligence Analyst

Jasmin has more than a decade of experience working with associations. She is an expert in SQL, Tableau, project management, business analysis, data cleanup, data conversion, data mining and discovery and reporting.

Jasmin is a Certified Business Intelligence Professional (CBIP), which is the business intelligence and data warehousing industry’s most important credential. She is also a Tableau Desktop 9 Qualified Associate.

Before joining the Association Analytics team, she worked for an association management company that provided full service to seven professional and trade associations. She holds a bachelor of business administration degree.

Outside of work, Jasmin enjoys spending time with her family, camping, watching football, and cheering on the University of Kentucky Wildcats. She is a proud wife and mother to two children.

Business Intelligence Analyst

With more than 15 years of professional experience, Jason has worked in roles including consultant, programmer, software architect and database developer.

He has been engaged in supporting and developing customizations and integrations for association management software systems for the last decade. He has been heavily involved with Microsoft technologies such as SQL Server, Reporting Services, .NET Framework, C#, and ASP.NET. Jason also has a passion for learning about new and emerging technologies, and how to best incorporate these to provide the best solutions.

Jason is a graduate of the University of Kentucky where he majored in clinical laboratory sciences. After several years working as a medical technologist in a hospital laboratory, he rediscovered his love for computer science and subsequently obtained a college certificate in computer information systems with an emphasis in programming.

In his free time, Jason enjoys spending time with his wife and dog, going to concerts and following University of Kentucky Wildcats teams.

 Senior Data Engineer

Matt leads the development of the Association Analytics products and cloud platform. These innovations include the extensible data architecture designed specifically for associations, integrations with industry-leading source systems, the Amazon Web Services (AWS) environment, and advanced analytics solutions involving recommendation engines, text analytics, and other predictive models.

Matt contributes a unique combination of technology, business, and strategy skills along with strong association knowledge to Association Analytics customers and played a key role in the development of the Analytics Strategy and Roadmap (ASR) service and product implementation processes. Matt has also had the opportunity to apply his diverse industry knowledge of e-commerce, healthcare, retail, software development, manufacturing, financial services, and government across a range of Association Analytics customers. This role provides Matt the opportunity to keep Association Analytics customers on the forefront of innovation with research and development efforts that include voice-enabled technologies, IoT applications, and image recognition.

Matt’s career in the association world began with his role as the Business Intelligence Manager for the International City-County Management Association. Matt’s previous experience also includes leading e-commerce business intelligence for a Fortune 500 retailer, providing professional services for a Silicon Valley software company, and developing the financial modules of an ERP application.

Matt holds a Master’s degree from Carnegie Mellon University in Electronic Commerce, a joint program between the school of computer science and the Tepper School of Business, along with a Master in Public Policy (MPP) degree from George Mason University that provides valuable insight into mission-driven organizations. Matt is certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) and holds SAS Certified Predictive Modeler Using SAS Enterprise Miner and Cloudera Certified Developer for Apache Hadoop (CCDH) credentials.

Matt is an avid follower of public policy, economics, and business and always enjoys exploring the DC-area.

VP, Product Development & Technology

Wayne has been a thought leader in the business intelligence and analytics field since the early 1990s. He is a sought-after consultant, noted speaker and bestselling author who thinks critically, writes clearly and presents persuasively about complex topics related to data analytics, business intelligence, data warehousing and most importantly, how organization develop the analytical mindset. For many years, Wayne serviced as director of education and research at (The Data Warehouse Institute).

Senior Strategy Consultant

Jed Summerton is a senior practitioner of data management, business intelligence and predictive analytics. As a consultant and executive he has served over 50 organizations and non profits in developing and operating large-scale data-investment programs and analytic systems, and using them to build new business capabilities and transform organizational performance.

Jed teaches master-level business analytics in the Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver, where he also chairs the advisory board for the department of Business Information and Analytics. He is a frequent speaker at industry forums and has served as a faculty member of The Data Warehousing Institute and He

Jed has a BS degree in Business Administration (Finance) and a BS degree in Computer Science from the University of Delaware. He is a Certified Business Intelligence Professional (CBIP – Master level) and has earned several industry awards for business analytics, best practices and IT innovation.

VP Data Analytics and Strategy

Walt is an authority on database design, analytics and reporting. Walt’s experience includes working with clients to determine the strategic direction for their business intelligence initiatives, identifying the primary areas for analysis, master data management (MDM), data quality management (DQM), designing and implementing data marts and cubes, integrating and cleansing data, building ETL scripts, and creating data visualizations and analysis of key performance indicators using tools such as Microsoft Analysis Services, Tableau, Microsoft Reporting Services and Excel.

Walt has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science/Mathematics from Vanderbilt University and a Master of Science in Industrial Administration (MBA) from Carnegie-Mellon University. Walt is also Association Analytics’ financial expert, having the distinction of passing the Certified Public Accountant exam.

Walt is a native of Nashville, TN but has resided in the DC area for 27 years. He has been married to Patricia for 21 years; no kids but one cat. Walt and Pat enjoy scuba diving and taking care of their back yard garden.

Database Architect

Combining experience as a former association staff member with a background in the fields of decision science, business and leadership, Debbie has over two decades of experience in successfully guiding associations through the maze of data analytics and business intelligence. Debbie holds a Master’s degree in Leadership from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business, is a graduate of the Entrepreneurial Master’s Program at MIT, and earned her B.S. in Decision Science. She is certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) and Balanced Scorecard Professional (BSP). She holds six current Microsoft SQL certifications, including MCITP Business Intelligence Developer. Debbie serves on the ASAE Key Consultants Committee and previously on the ASAE Technology Council. She is a frequent speaker at association events, delivering energetic presentations on the subject of analytics and visualization at ASAE Annual Meeting, ASAE Technology Conference, Great Ideas, and more. Debbie competes in the sport of equestrian eventing. She also enjoys running, meditation, and reading (although, not at the same time)!
